1. Key Characteristics of Dry Containers
Similar to other container types, dry containers are rectangular steel structures made of corrosion-resistant steel with strong load-bearing capacity and solid wooden floors. They are not equipped with refrigeration systems, therefore suitable only for dry cargo that does not require temperature or humidity control.
Dry containers are manufactured in accordance with ISO 668:1995(E) international standards, making them compatible with all modes of transportation and suitable for various weather and terrain conditions.

● 20-foot Dry Container (20 DC)
The 20 DC is one of the smallest dry container types. Specifications may vary depending on the manufacturer; however, the approximate internal dimensions are:

The 40 DC container has nearly double the external size of a 20 DC container. It is ideal for cargo with lower weight but larger volume, such as garments, furniture, textiles, and leather goods.
● 45-foot Dry Container
The 45-foot dry container has similar dimensions to the 40 DC but offers approximately 11% more height and maximum payload capacity. Currently, it is considered one of the largest dry container types available.
Due to its large size and capacity for oversized and overweight cargo, this container type is in high demand and often difficult to source.
